Best guy ever , not a mean bone in him. I know ferrets don't smile but he always looked happy. Carried a rubber duck around the house and was always happy when he moved it around from under couch to under loveseat. He died yesterday at the age of 8 . I'm a grumpy 60 yr old guy and didn't expect his passing to hurt so much.

Dear Joe,

It is amazing how much of a presence a relatively silent and silly acting (read clumsy) creature like such can have... and how much void their passing can create... yet they do! Your story brings a smile on my face as it is a reflection on how fortunate you both were to have crossed paths.

I feel your pain, we just lost Floyd and I have never known such heartache. That he was happy with you should bring you some comfort. It is something we hold onto that helps with the sorrow.
I really enjoyed the rubber duck story, I have a ferret that loves anything rubber.
